Skeep designs and develops sound and music for museums, brands and spatial environments.

Skeep is founded by Ard Janssen, a Rotterdam based composer, sonologist and sound designer creating audio sculptures which are fragile, layered and characterized by great detail.

I studied electronic music composition at the institute of Sonology of the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and I have been taught by Richard Barrett, Kees Tazelaar, Konrad Boehmer, Paul Berg and Peter Pabon. Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in June 2003.

Hunting for sounds in the field, spending hours on my modular synthesizer or just experiment with brewing coffee is what i like.

Area of expertise: field recording, soundscapes, composition and sounddesign for museum, brands and spatial environments.
